Open top buses
Usually, it is not necessary to book bus tours in advance - just turn up at the most convenient departure point. Tours cost approximately £14 for adults and £6 for children.

Big Bus tours The Big Bus Company offers three open-top sightseeing tourswith live English commentary on each.

Big Language tours

The Original London Sightseeing Tour
The Original London Sightseeing Tour company offers various tours, taking you to the best sights of London. Each tour has an English-speaking guide while The City Sightseeing Tour has an informative taped commentary in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Hebrew. Main departure points are Coventry Street near Piccadilly Circus, Victoria Street, near Victoria station, Baker Street, near Madame Tussaud’s, Haymarket, Marble Arch, Trafalgar Square and Embankment Pier. Coaches
Companies such as Evan Evans or Golden Tours offer half and full-day sightseeing tours of London and beyond. London tours are either half-day panoramic tours, with photo stops and visits to all the major sites such as Westminster Abbey, St Paul's and the Royal sites. A full-day London tour, in addition to the above, usually includes lunch at a traditional English pub and a river cruise.

Smaller tour operator Astral Travels UK runs guided mini coach day tours to destinations like Salisbury and Bath. These tours depart daily and include a free pick up service from most central London Hotels.

Full-day tours beyond London visit a wide range of destinations such as Stonehenge and Bath, Oxford, Cambridge, Canterbury, Winchester, Salisbury and Engish Gardens. They pick up in Central London in the morning and drop you off at the end of the day.
